I was born and brought up in Kanpur (U.P., India) and went to college there for studying. There I developed interest in art and music, and have been painting since then. I experimented with oil on canvas mostly and like to paint in modern style.
After marriage I moved to Delhi, got busy with kids, but always tried to paint in whatever free time I used to get. I mostly work with oil color, water color and sometimes pastel color, and like to paint modern, abstract , landscape , and figurative style of paintings. I have painted on different mediums, be it canvas, wood, drawing paper, handmade paper.
This website, mainly an initiative of my beloved children, is a showcase of paintings I have made. It will also serve as a source of inspiration for me, seeing other people acknowledging my work.
